Every element of this design - the violins, the fleur de lis, the woodgrains, and the fabric texture in the background - was individually created and hand-drawn on my computer without the use of photographs or commercial textures and brushes using Adobe Fireworks software. Textures, glows and lighting effects are the result of multiple layers of semitransparent color and selective blurring to soften the effects and make the designs appear to be 3 dimensional and realistic. I do not use graphic pens, preferring instead to use a mouse and touchpad interface.
