The inspiration for this design was a 2007 cross country road trip in my 1960 Edsel. On what was to be my last day on the road, a tiny spring in one rear brake show broke. So, off it was towed to a place in Arizona that serviced all the vehicles outdoors. When they put it up on the lift, to take off the wheel, there was my two ton behemoth floating against the sky. I took several photographs, which form the basis for this drawing.
