From a geometric jungle of textile cut-outs, an elegant soiree of feline friends saunter curiously. It’s a stunning patchwork display of rose pink, sky blue, spicy mustard and inky black swatches. Inspired by the geometric cut-outs of the Cubist artist yet undoubtedly reworked with a loving touch of craft, the design overflows like a whimsical basket of textile samples.
The design’s surface is alive with texture, a dynamic bundle of crisscrossing stitches, checks and dots. The cats themselves are Pablo-inspired, their jagged shapes decked in pink and black tartan sweaters or funky black and white ensembles. Their elongated edges pop prettily against the design, as though stitched perfectly into its dramatic dynamo.
