will become the sole female & leader of their group.
Clownfish live symbiotically with anemones. All clownfish begin life as males, but have the ability to change sex. Within groups of clownfish there is a single breeding pair and a strict pecking order lead by the dominate female and her male mate. Should something happen to the dominate female, her mate will turn into a female and then choose one of the non-mating males to be her mate. How cool is that!?
