Pawprint painted Pems - rose on white Duvet Cover byrusticcorgi

The interesting back story behind this design. The inside of each silhouette is a pattern painted by my own Pem when he was about a year or so old. A short time after getting him I watched a cute dog clip on Animal planet about a dog who created his own paintings with a little help from his owner who then sold them. The idea seed was then planted "My dog can do that!" and so I bought some non-toxic kids paint, got some printer paper, grabbed up the fluffy puppy himself, and then mixed them all in my bathtub. Two pieces of paper and a big mess later I scratched the idea of selling "his art" but I kept those cute prints. So, here they are today, revised, digitally cutting out from the painting fun Corgi silhouettes and pieced together into a repeat, who knew all these years later his art actually would make it to market!
