I spent 6 weeks in various allotments in England studying the fascinating structures that gardeners create out of everyday objects. The most drawn allotment was in Bucklands Hill in Maidstone, Kent. This is the first of a series of three, It shows the Compost aspect of the title, it shows the many different things that i observed at the allotment that the gardeners had been using to make use of their kitchen and garden waste. Compost can be made in anything that keeps moisture in and allow aeration. From some tarp and chicken wire, to very expensive futuristic looking set ups. I personally use an 80L bin with holes drilled in the sides, that i roll around my balcony to turn every now and then. :) works a treat!
