for a 6-inch embroidery hoop.
This fits one full pattern to a sample size. Just an FYI. The idea is that you have the design that you can then stitch over as much or as little as you want. It’s a bit like a stitching coloring book. I’m very much a newb with embroidery so this approach appealed to me as a way to create a design that I loved without constantly second guessing myself or forgetting what I was doing. I’m ADHD so that leads to some messy if occasionally fantastic results. I basically looked up different stitches I wanted to try and found places to apply them. I really encourage people to explore and find their own way of doing this, but If you are interested, the stitches I used were. Running stitch Back stitch Stem stitch Seed stitch (this one can be used to make both flower and berries! It lends itself to creative use.) Satin stitch (orange and blue flowers) Raised satin stitch And the orange showers are a side feather or button hole type stich but I kept the needle coming out from the same spot. I hope that makes sense.
