Swords are presented in four tone grey colors on a reddish background in a single row to fit 42" wide fabrics. The size of the design can be easily increased to accommodate any of the wider fabrics upon request. The swords and background can also be changed to different colors. There are six swords in total in this repeat. Three are Scottish basket hilt style and the other three are various colonial styles. Most of the swords are drawn over photographs I took from the sword collection at Fort Ti. Because a couple were cropped off or incomplete, they are hybrid swords using structure from other images.
