"Hand Crafted" is drawn using one of my weavings. I used the company's design aesthetic as a guide. Using dark brown (molasses) and terracotta (Amoro) to represent the clay while I draped the Piglet and Butter colors on top. The warp is drawn in pink, and the weft is drawn in butter for the weaving. The additional drawing is of coffee tree branches with coffee berries. On their site, East Fork often displays their ceramic pieces with food. So while thinking about their mugs, I couldn't help but think about how great a cup of coffee would look in them.
