Guinea Fowl (a wild pheasant/grouse type of bird) inspired this pattern. From far the birds appear to have only white spots on a grey or black body, but on closer inspection you can see shades of florescent blues, greens, turquoise and teal. They are a noisy bird waking one up early morning as they scratch around for their food. So the pattern reflects their random wandering as well as their colourful feathers.
