When I was in first grade I (and almost every little girl I knew) had the worst taste. Dreamy, romantic, rococo, and excessive thrilled me. And if there were fairies in it, all the better. There are no actual fairies in this dreamy art nouveau hiding garden. They must be out delivering coins to the little girls and boys that lost a tooth. But there is a slice of dreamy, romantic, far away, and feminine in these thin white lines and arching curves. This is a design aimed straight for the heart of first grade girls of today and yesterday, with what I can hope is a little better aesthetic balance than I would have fallen for when I was six and a half.
