Welcome to a nouveau Gothic 1940's mash up of styles stirred into a green and brown stew. To dissect what is on your plate we will stop first in the late 19th century and grab some cathedral Gothic arches and lay them edge to edge. Then we will get into our time machine and scoop up some art nouveau vines and twists to put inside the vertical ovals of the Gothic abstract design. Finally, we will stop off in the late 1930's or early 1940's and scoop up the colors, add a few open eyeballs with their pupils and iris staring at you, and decorate them with green scallops, inside curved edge diamonds. Lastly we will add their eyelashes to look like suns or sunflowers. We will drag all these mis-matched elements, kicking and screaming, into 2013, and bake them good.
