“Mesic Prairie Montage” was created in response to the “Local Flora” 3x3 design challenge prompt from Sketch Design Repeat in March 2024. I worked for my local conservation district for two years, and lived on site for one year, making the prairie feel like home. This design includes my interpretation of: black eyed Susans, coneflowers, American pokeweed, blue phlox, pretty verbena, flowering spurge, potentilla recta, lily of the valley, Virginia spring beauty, and leaves of the purple crown vetch.
