The patterns are based on lumen images. In this process, photographic paper is covered with translucent materials such as plant materials, compressed under glass and then left in the sun to expose. Each original print is unique in its own way based upon materials and conditions. I then scan the image and explore the natural patterns through cropping, mirroring, layering, and other adjustments.
