I was beyond excited to see the proofs of this design! What started out as an exploratory sketch to stretch the possibilities of the humble fan or clamshell pattern became this sweet Art Deco style fan, full of organic textured hand drawn lines. I’m so pleased with how it came together, and I hope you will be so too! I particularly like the way it looks as wallpaper and duvet covers (in the large scale), but it would also be really sweet as cute little dresses and tops for children, as well as pretty summery shirts and dresses for adults.
