9x13 prayer flags feature seven healing affirmations in bright rainbow colors. Courage Tenacity Strength Resiliency Gratitude Creativity Equanimity ***How to purchase! **Sewing directions! For photos and videos of completed sets, plus illustrated instructions, see: https://dancinggoddesses.my.canva.site/dgprayerflags -On my main shop page, under my quilt block avatar, click “Designed Collections.” -Scroll down to the collection titled “Prayer Flags.” -Near the top where it says “Want to use this collection for a Fill-A-Yard™ project?” click “Start Designing.” -Choose the template “2 yards/up to 4 designs” (This means you can order four strings of prayer flags, for yourself or to share with friends!) -Choose your fabric: chiffon makes gorgeous semi-transparent prayer flags that really catch the light in beautiful ways. Performance piqué is a less transparent option, but I liked how it worked for flags. I’m sure any fabric you are comfortable seeing would be good! -click design Project. -click on the design photo you want, and then click one of the rectangles on the left, and you’ll see it fill. Repeat with the other three rectangles. -add to cart and await the magic mail! -These flags are easy to cut apart, and only require one straight stitch. Typically I will iron down the top hem BEFORE cutting. Next, I sew a 1/2” seam along the long edge, backstitching wherever the flags come together, as well as on the two ends. THEN I cut apart along the flags’ short edges (And since you’ve backstitched thoroughly, it should stay secure). Then string your long ribbon through the top edges and voilá!
