The Winner

About this design:

In this week's challenge we asked designers to use paper and glue to create cake-themed collages that they could then scan and turn into fabric designs. The winning fabric is by Bethany Berndt Shackelford (BZBDesigner), an accomplished artist and designer who calls LA home. Congratulations to the top 10!

Details

Create a fabric design using cakes as a design motif (cup cakes are also ok), but the medium should be collage made from paper (we're talking wood pulp & scissors, nothing digital). You'll have to scan the collage to digitize it, and some digital clean-up and arrangement of the scanned image is fine. How's that for a specific challenge? Entries will be previewed at the scale of a fat quarter (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 10th, 2012.
