Here in Spoonflower's hometown of North Carolina, we pride ourselves on being the "first in flight". This week your designs took us up, up and away with hot air balloons, zeppelins, bionic birds, aeroplanes and more. Check out the top 10 winners of our Flying Machines contest and give a big congratulations to Australian repeat winner, Julie Lynch, on her dreamy winning design!

This week's contest celebrates flying machines. From airplanes to hot air balloons, and every contraption in between, who doesn't love to fly? Create a flying machine-themed design to be previewed at the fat quarter size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, March 31st. Voting will open on Thursday, April 2nd.

- Designs will be viewed as a Fabric on the voting ballot. Acceptable repeat options for this challenge are Basic, Half-Drop, Half-Brick, Mirror, Center.
- Designs previously uploaded on Spoonflower.com are not eligible for this contest. Designs do not require printed proofing to enter the contest.
- The popular vote determines the top 10 winning designs. Voters include Spoonflower artists and customers as well as the public.
