About this design:
We are head over heels for Andrea Lauren's inky calligraphy fabric, and this week's design challenge winner. Andrea's design won an appearance in an issue of UPPERCASE–if you haven't perused their magazine yet, you are in for a treat.
Details
We're partnering with UPPERCASE, a magazine for the creative and curious, to bring you this week's contest. Create a monochromatic pattern using varying shades of black, white or grey with calligraphy as a theme. Winner will be profiled in an upcoming issue of UPPERCASE. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, November 11, 2014 .

- Designs will be viewed as a Fabric on the voting ballot. Acceptable repeat options for this challenge are Basic, Half-Drop, Half-Brick, Mirror, Center.
- Designs previously uploaded on Spoonflower.com are not eligible for this contest. Designs do not require printed proofing to enter the contest.
- The popular vote determines the top 10 winning designs. Voters include Spoonflower artists and customers as well as the public.
