    This design is a print looking like the typical embroideries of the Rococo period, printed on a cream background.<br> I have even faked the goldwork embroideries by making them look 'metallic' in this print - please have a look at the swatch size to see the details. <br> This design works great for dresses, since it basically works like a giant border print. Of course it makes pretty curtains too!<br> It's way less 'busy' (and has a less long repeat) than my <a href=http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1105101>other Mantua fabric</a>, and would be desirable if you prefer a 'less' crowded version of that type of fabric. <br> <br> Note that no matter how realistic this may look on screen, it's really just a printed design; the embroideries aren't really embroidered but just printed. <br> <br> The design repeats every 30.1 inches along the length of the fabric and will print seamlessly on all fabric widths - the wider fabrics will have more 'empty beige space' on top. <br> <br> I recommend ordering this design in either Cotton Poplin (matte), Organic Cotton Sateen (slight sheen) or Cotton silk (drapes like dupioni, sheen similar to silk satin), since colors will print best on those three fabric types.<br> <br> In case you should need this design in different colors or at a different scale, please don't hesitate to send me a message - I can quickly set that up for you :-)<br> <br> <b>If you were always wondering how different colors print on the various fabrics that Spoonflower offers, please do have a look at my <a href="http://www.naergilien.info/real-life-research/how-spoonflower-prints-colors/">website where I have quite a few comprehensive photos of color swatches printed on various fabrics!</a></b><br> <br> If you like my designs, please <a href="http://www.facebook.com/BonniePhantasm">like my page on Facebook</a>!
