The Dauphine was careful to always carry a map of Versailles and Paris in case she needed to flee at a moment's notice. Sometimes, she even fashioned her clothes from the maps or lined the inside of her skirt. Baroque and Rococo designs inspired by life in the French court of the 18th century.
