In a small size for children, the fabric can be used for a cheater quilt, too. Fabric repeat is 2 x 5.7 (all three motifs), in half-drop. Wallpaper repeat is about 3 x 10 (all three motifs), in half-drop. See Collection number 488040 for more sizes and blenders for this design. www.spoonflower.com/collections/488040 "Cottage Garden Quilt Blocks in Soft Hues in Three Sizes" Rococo After King Louis XIV died in 1715, French culture shifted away from the royal palace to private homes in Paris. "This more personal milieu found its artistic expression in Rococo, which represented a rejection of Baroque art’s formal grandeur." Source = https://www.artsy.net/article/artsy-editorial-10-artworks-defined-rococo-style I like the lighter elegance, soft colors, and asymmetrical curves of Rococo, as well as its playfulness and pastoral scenes. In my commissioned portrait work, I've always been considered a Romantic Realist. I adore the countryside near my home and lovely feminine frocks. Elegance for common folks, like me! Though sometimes life knocks all of us around, the peaceful, pretty parts of life are also true. While I already had pastel portraits and oil-painted curving tulips, putting a design together was a complex endeavor. The toddler girl comes from my pastel art named "Sisterly Love." The girl in the swing comes from "The Happy Swing at Grandma's House." The tulip border comes from "Daisies, Roses, and Tulips." The peonies landscape comes from a pastel portrait named "A Moment in Time." I hope you will show me the projects you create with my fabrics. It would be joy to see them.
