The inspiration for this design was a dress my mother made me about 1960-62; it was white eyelet over a bright pink lining. This design has a 1-inch repeat in both directions, easy to cut for quilt squares.

Since I have now proofed it in the new profile, and it still doesn't come out emerald, as it did when I first designed it, I am renaming it Mint, and I will work later on getting Emerald up!

fireflower says: Yes, it is odd, isn't it, how different it looks in the green?! The dress of inspiration was in the bright dark pink, but I think this green background would also have made a good cocktail dress, just less splashy. I'm hoping to get the emerald working soon, too, and it looks yet more different.
