The City of Alexandria has many quaint brick houses, painted in vibrant colors. Pretty wreaths and flags add an extra festive sparkle to the scene. Cats wait in a window and on a stoop, a dog runs down the street, a bicycle awaits a rider and doves perch on the roof - - one's even hiding in a flower box!

glimmer...

glimmericks says: Thanks, Virginie. I think it will work equally well for potholders, scarves, totebags, curtains, pillows, and aprons. It should be good for quilting too it someone is using large blocks.

glimmer...

glimmericks says: Thank you, Karen! I had to draw a lot of new texture files to create this - literally drew each brick for some sections, and the windows were a real "pane."

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: The terrace of attractively quaint houses in this design seem to belong to a friendly neighbourhood that would be fun to explore. Your delightful street scene projects that welcoming atmosphere, Pamela! This would be a great fabric to use in quilting projects. It would suit small things like cushions or tote bags or full-sized quilts.

glimmer...

glimmericks says: Made a potholder (making more, this is just what I did so far). Backed it with ironing board fabric and stuffed with cotton batting. Printed on cotton sateen. Forgot to take a picture before I cut it up!
