An art nouveau tinged illustration of children at play, drawn by Margaret Ely Webb (1877-1955) for the 1916 edition of the school book Adline Readers Primer. Colorized and shared by me because I like the graphic line and sweetness of her work. Her work from the last century deserves to be known by the mothers and children of this century. (Original copyright for 1916 works has now expired). (file ss383a1-ch, #8092028)
