Description:

(#008-00) By Isabella P. © 2009

The background of Bear Hugs (#008-00) Milk is white (not cream) as is that of the companion fabric, Hearts n Flowers (#019-01) Garnet. If a white background isn't what you are looking for you might prefer the pretty rose background of Bear Hugs (#008-02) Rose or the companion fabric Hearts n Flowers (#019-02) Rose.

inscribed_here says: Thanks kquilts. The design numbers are very useful. When I print my designs to sell locally I add a selvedge label including the number. It helps with re-orders. Instead of asking for 'that flowery design that's kind of green' customers can request, for example, 5 yards of #016-07 and 2 yards of #013-08. It's much more practical.

khowardquilts says: I think your idea of adding your own design number is good, too. I'm always hunting for which version of a design I want. It is quicker than recording the whole name.

inscribed_here says: Thanks for your kind words bazen_de_burgh. I love to design multi-directional and hopefully versatile prints. With this little guy (as well as my other bears and pandas) I wanted a child who was wearing the print to be able to look down and see more than simple rows of upside-down bears. One way prints can look pretty to the observer but are often boring and a little strange for the little ones wearing them.

inscribed_here says: Thanks. Yes, I think it works very well for kids pjs as well as boxers. The bamboo/cotton feels lovely.

rhondadesigns says: This range is very cute and perfect for a Valentines day project. Perhaps a pair of boxers or some cute pajamas in the bamboo/cotton.
