Description:

Here we have the combo of a vintage theme, and an abstract approach. I have set the Christmas nativity scene among the stars.

This design emerged for me while I was playing around with the "Liquify" tool again in Adobe Photoshop. There is basically no relationship to what I started with; I just seem to get a lot of ideas in that way. * * * My favorite part of this design is the way it flows as a repeat. I also enjoyed setting the Nativity Scene in the sky, amidst the stars. It seemed an apt setting for the one whose followers praise him as the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, for one who claimed to be eternal, and the son of God. * * * I primarily see this design being used as gift wrap. Personally I would also enjoy using it as a special Christmas outfit, probably either as a full skirt, or as a bodice for a dress. As a single item, printed on the linen cotton ultra, it would also make a beautiful piece of Christmas art. If you would like that, let me know, and I will set it up for you. * * * You may view the full Christmas collection here: http://www.spoonflower.com/collections/163792 * * * Happy sewing! * * * Copyright Mary K Wykes 8-12-16
