su_g says: Thanks so much Cal - I'm very happy about the detail, it is hard to see even at a swatch view here, and there are so many little dots that make up those decorative tiles!

materialsgirl says: Su - My swatch arrived! I can't believe the amount of detail that is missed in the digital - particularly the background. It's GORGEOUS! I really must come up with a use for it soon. It's just delightful!

materialsgirl says: Oh Su, I just love this. The flow within the design just keeps everything in motion. I have to see it up close...have a swatch in my cart!

su_g says: Thanks for the feedback Susan - I find them a fascinating motif too, and the contrast between the static (tiles) and the dynamic (whirling) has been really interesting to play with - more scope yet!

susaninparis says: I love the dervishes. I saw some sufi dancers back at a tender age, and from then onwards have always been facinated by them. This one and the "checkerboard" background are my two favs.

su_g says: Very much appreciate your comment Karen, these little dervishes are not everyone's taste but I think they make an interesting design motif (inspired by a bowl given to me by a friend who travels the world, I think it came from Turkey originally).
