paul-ny says: tallulah (if I may abbreviate your name): thank you so much! Unfortunately the book itself has gone out of print. But who knows what lies in its future: enough shirts causing enough demand, and it may get republished! I'm wondering, though, if I should whiten up the chair color. It actually is a lot whiter than it looks here.

tallulahdahling says: This is a purrfect illustration for a fabric! You arranged the chairs so cleverly to create a lacy scallop design with Purrless leaping about in just the right places. I can see myself wearing this as a shirt. And somebody says, "What DARLING fabric! Where did you get that shirt?" And I say:"I made it from fabric designed by a children's book illustrator, Paul O. Zelinsky." And the admirer says:"I LOVE the illustration style! What books did he illustrate?" And pretty soon you've sold some books off of my shirt. Think big, I say.

beckyhomeeckie says: Paul.. I am a huge fan of your books, and now your fabric. As a school librarian and a sewer, this is terrific. How about my fav, Rapunzel as your next fabric?
