photographed these leaves in the late afternoon.
On a visit to my daughter's home in Kansas, I decided to go on a nature walk. I never left her property. I just walked around putting little treasures into my plastic bag . . . various leaves, acorn tops, etc. Then I sat down on the ground and played around, laying out my treasures on fresh mulch which she had just put around her little pawpaw tree. It was a very pleasant hour in which I just focused on the beauty all around me. * * * I am very entranced with how these Cranberry Hibiscus Leaves look against the pattern created with the mulch through digital reflection. They were actually a deep cranberry, but the color was softened by the way the sunlight hit them. * * * This design would make lovely curtains in a garden room, or upholstery fabric for chairs on the patio. I also think it will be beautiful on blouses, or the bodice of a dress. * * * Copyright Mary K Wykes
