No, this began as a pencil sketch done on rough watercolor paper and evolved into this -- yet another version of the baby chick. Speaking of baby chicks, there is a small crack in one of the chicken eggs my husband has in the incubator so it looks like we'll have at least one shy baby chick for real!! :-) Thanks for taking a look.
