Vintage 1800's botanical illustrations, filtered and combined to create a flower and greenery garden with a subtle damask background.

This design is created from several vintage botanical illustrations from the 1800's. Using a watercolor simulating filtered in Photoshop I was able to combine these 150 year old images to create a flower and greenery garden boarder, with a subtle damask background 0f swirling filigree, that fades out as it reaches the top edge of the fabric. Take a closeup look of the flowers and greenery to see the watercolor painterly effect that I was able to achieve. The repeating is every 20 inches so that it can be used effectively as a hem boarder with the repeating of the garden far enough apart to keep the design from looking fragmented, or having a staccato effect.
