Large, complex designs are a joy to work with! I enjoy experimenting with new techniques. I love to read. My favorite books used to be Science Fiction and Fantasy, but Biography and Poetry capture my attention now. I relish the unexpected.

All of these photographs were taken at a beautiful grotto in Dickeyville, Wisconsin, USA. The priest who completed most of the work on it built it up over many years so that it is a lifetime of prayer, creation, and devotion. If you ever have a chance to visit it, I highly recommend it. feebeedee says: Yes, I was trying to think of what border to put on the rocks, mosaic, and glass blocks and I had these lovely soft flowers. It occurred to me that there was a nice contrast between the softness of the flowers and the hard shapes of the rocks and shells. They are both natural in some way, and the Grotto has now been around for so long in the wind and the rain that it could be thought of as "natural" too.

rhondadesigns says: An amazing array of images. The contrast in visual texture between the dandelion border and the various pebbles and rocks etc is interesting.
