Description:

Being an Elementary Science Teacher for years, this is comical but not so far fetched. We usually had more that were not true projects than real ones

charldia says: Thanks Sue. Though this us exaggerated for humor, it is based on facts I saw year after year. So you're concerns are indeed founded. And a lot of it comes from the fact that these children have no one at home to guide them with at home projects.

su_g says: A charming design, so appropriate for the Contest! Sounds like you had a common experience as shared by Sef in her design! This is such good fun and really says something (unfortunately - as we often worry about the poor state of science understanding in my country) about science and science fairs...

charldia

charldia says: I taught Elementary Science for years. I was over the Science Fairs. Trust me, the vast majority turned in were far from the Scientific Method, some had nothing to do with Science. You have to read the experiments in order to understand the humor of it all.

charldia says: Thanks. I told you my mind was blank and then I started thinking about all those "projects" turned in that you knew were done overnight and they had been given 6 to 8 weeks. I'm so glad you get my humor.
