fireflower says: Thank you for your lovely comment, Bob! You'll want to swatch, of course, but stay away from the cottons --- the golden yellow lines are so thin that the spread of the purple ink through the absorbent fibers blurs the contrast, which is the source of the sparkle. I'd probably skip the crepe de chine, too, because the lovely crepe texture will mess with that, too. I'd go for the cotton silk, or the hardest smoothest finished of the polyesters. I'm way behind in posting pictures of my swatches, but I will try to get these out, and get them up.
