A casual and modern floral twist and tangle with odd angled diagonal block shapes and muted color scheme.
Lots of echoes from a century ago in the style of this design.
This design's roots are in the arts and crafts movement (which technically ran from the late Victorian era into the 1920's and even 1930's, but had its peak in the decade of the first world war).
Hints of both art nouveau and art deco as well as streamline moderne are found in that style. And you can see them here.
Though it was January 12, 2014 when I designed this, the fun of drawing this design is the Twilight Zone time machine nature of art. I can almost hear Rod Serling standing in the corner of this room, saying in his clipped accent "next stop, 1914."
