Have you ever tried to get a dinosaur to sit still while getting his image? Yeah...good luck with that. Tongues! No respect.

Ink on paper, collage, 6"x6". OK, this was a stretch. Spike wouldn't sit still. So, I rendered him in Post-It notes, card stock, markers, and one glue stick. Stinker!

katiame says: Haha...thanks Victorialasher! Yes, adolescent dinosaurs are no better at sitting still than human kids. :)

victorialasher says: This is great, I just love it; and your description. It made me think of a kid fooling around in a photo booth, four shots of silliness.

katiame says: I received my swatch today in the performance knit. The color saturation is amazing...just like the original.

katiame says: Thanks Amy_G! I was totally doubting myself. I am a fiber artist at heart. Give me a needle and thread, or knitting needles, and I am good to go. The whole drawing thing has me completely perplexed. I knew what I wanted to do for this contest, but had no idea how to pull it off. On the last day of the deadline I decided to try a collage and did something entirely different than what I had planned. I figure the theme was easy enough for a beginner like me to do that way.
