I am retired and my main passion is digital art followed by quilting . Once I discovered Spoonflower I could see this as the next step in joining these two interests together.

koalalady says: Hi Amy,Glad you like these tile designs. Apparently they are about a year old by now - and you looked closely and saw the textures and the powder rub- did I tell you about that or do you KNOW?Well spotted. many thanks.

vanillabeandesigns says: Such beautiful textures and colors! I can see this as a skirt, either a full one or a fitted pencil skirt, that would be so sharp!

koalalady says: Thank you Su.Glad you like this, another one using my own tiles. You have given me great advise and I can see what you are saying. Meanwhile the tile hanging is not getting finished and time is disappearing. This comes first and sewing later perhaps.

koalalady says: Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your great comment on my design. Sometimes these combinations come by accident and in this case its a bit this way but it inspires me to actually arrange some tiles (which this design was made from ) in a blue, orange and neutral combination. Cheers, Shirley
