su_g says: Thanks for your kind words Joan, and I totally agree with you about the 'new' yellows (in the V2.1 color system) they present much better, which is great.

joanmclemore says: I agree that the new system has really done well with yellows. I found yellows were a struggle in the old profile to me. But they've been very nice in the new profile, as you've discovered with this great color scheme.

su_g says: These fabric images were scanned and the fabric is not quite as bright but the color relativities are true and the yellow is beautifully mellow in the new (V2.1) color system.

su_g says: Thanks so much for the comment Isabella - I was surprised myself at how well some of the most unlikely ("surprising") color combinations worked in this design. And really pleased at how well the yellow came out in the new (V2.1) color system.

su_g says: You're so right about exploring the "what-ifs" Rhonda... purple waratahs being just one result! Thanks for the feedback.

rhondadesigns says: Purple waratahs would cause a sensation at any time, but these look spectacular against the glowing sunshine yellow of your design, Su! Don't you just love being able to explore all of the "what-ifs" that you can dream up when dealing with colour and fabric design?
