Thank you for the comment! The background was really quite bright when I created it. I just lowered the opacity to make it lighter. :)

Thank you for your comment. This was hand stitched (my very first cross-stitch) and the black outline is actually just the border of the original. I had to make it a repeat for uploading to SF. Since it is a hand-stitched piece I can't change any of the colors. :) Thank you again for your comment it is appreciated.

Nice texture and love the rainbow. I do not know it I would have chosen black for the join, but that is not bad in general. I'd like to see it in other color eventually one of those day.

That's beautifully done. The way the contents of the frame flirt with whether or not the frame is a boundary reminds me of the work of Rene Magritte. How did you get the chalk to play nicely with the waxier texture of the colored pencils?
