anniedeb says: This shell is made from two fat quarters of Spoonflower Kona cotton. One side is printed with Su_G's "Crowded Land C Cream" and this side is printed with Su_G's "Crowded land 2a LARGE on powder blue." NOTES: There is no front or back to this top. Either side can be worn as the front -- depends on your mood. There are no darts. I hemmed all the sides of each fat quarter, then placed the right sides of the fat quarters together and stitched the top of my garment, leaving a space for my head to go through. :-) Then I stitched up the sides, leaving spaces for my arms to go through. :-) FULL DISCLOSURE: I wanted to be able to say that this shell had been made with only folding, pressing and stitching, but I cannot. I should have measured the space for my head to go through more accurately. In the end, I cut Vs in both fat quarters, pressed them under and tacked them to the shell on each side. The shell comes just to my waist and makes for a great summertime top. It will also work with jackets in the fall. Su's design printed very well on the fabric. While I was ironing the fabric, I could almost see the brush bristles in her work.
