My cousin Erin was the first person to tell me about spoonflower. She’s a legit textile artist who specializes in shibori silk, and you should all go to her website (Erinbassettartistry.com right now and spend all your money there.) Anyways, this past weekend, I traveled down to watch her get married on the intracoastal waterway. The wedding was perfect— the guests wore shades of blue as a nod to the water around us, and the bride and groom both arrived by boat. The whole event felt very authentically Florida— a nice change from the flamingoes and flip flops so often used to depict the state. These two Egrets are a shout out to the bride and groom— in cobalt of course— to fit with their theme. Congrats you two— I love you!
