Flamingos are SO last season, this year let's make it all about the Pūkeko!

The Pūkeko is one of New Zealand's most easily recognisable birds - with it's distinctive burgundy beak and legs, and the flash of white feathers at it's tail it's often seen in and around wetland areas, and browsing through grass at campsites and on farms. Designed specifically for the Orchid & Navy Limited Colour Palette challenge, my kooky "pooks" are cavorting over a field of orchid coloured flax plants.
