Message me for resizing designs or colors changes and turning designs 90 degrees to better use the fabric. I share an interest in fabric design with my sister ArtbyJaneWalker . I'm a quilter and have a love of fabric. I can set up photos for pillows.

Collage of a paper water lily on paper water.

My original photos of a three dimensional paper water lily and leaves on water that was also paper, digitally combined and manipulated. It looks OK sized down to as small as 900 dpi (7 inches across). It can be big enough to fill a yard 42 inches wide with the whole half drop repeat. message me for a different size than it is listed. Wallpaper is 262 dpi. wrapping paper is 484 dpi. water_lilies_verticalmulti_erase_2d

khowardquilts says: My goal was to have a design where people did a double take with flowers that look almost real because these are from a photograph, but are really made of paper. So many of the designs in this contest I can see as wrapping paper.

anneostroff says: So clever, flowers pasted onto a watery background. This is my favorite in the contest. Good luck!

khowardquilts says: It is entered. The light and dark leaves are mainly just the difference in the lighting when I photographed the paper shapes. The veining on the leaves was added digitally in many different shades. The water was done with two layers of the background (the most manipulated part of the design) in different colors and by removing sections of the top layer to make it look like it a shimmering in the sun.

just_bananas_over_soft_toys says: This is soooo pretty! My favourite out of all your designs & I have enjoyed seeing it move from a rough idea to a finished design (via the FB Spoonflower Fans group). I love the soft light, the way the 'sun' catches the leaves making some lighter almost glistening and some darker as they are shaded by the flower. The water has sparkle and movement. Please enter this in the challenge just as it is!!
