I loved to plan out what garden I would grow when I grew up, without caring how hard any of it would be to grow or if it would even work in my climate. Just a fun bunch of pretty, flavorful, or pleasingly textured plants. Here my garden has bees, chickens, mint, strawberries, California poppies, ornamental cotton, pussywillow, and an assortment of succulents. I could add four times as many and still not have everything I dreamed of when I was young!
