Color combos in my designs range from soft and subtle to bold and vivacious. In addition to creative, original artwork there are coordinates such as plaids, stripes, polka dots, solids and more. Ask if you need something customized!

Description:

This is a design which is fanciful in the extreme. Colors include teal, beige, rust, and charcoal. What faces and/or figures do you see?

Honestly, I am in love with this design. It strikes me as absolutely elegant. As it is my creation, I suppose that could sound arrogant - but truly, I am simply very happy and surprised at the results of digital manipulation. I see this fabric in an elegant outfit, perhaps in a vest or jacket. I can also see it as drapes. I LOVE digitally recycling my paintings. For this design, I took a digital image of "Symphony of Branches" into Adobe Photoshop and "liquified" it. In other words, I turn the photo of the painting into a palette of colors that are ready to be made into a new design. The title does have an interesting story behind it as well. After digitally liquifying and swirling a photo of my painting "Symphony of Branches" what evolved was a "Symphony Totem'' with comical figures which made me laugh. The reflection of that design, rendered here, reminds me of ornate drawer pulls, hence the name "Drawer Pull Totem." Just for fun, I suggest that you take a look at the painting from which it was derived. You will note that there is NO resemblance to this design other than the colors! gargoylesentry says: Thanks, Mary, for creating this shirt with one of my Times Square Ball designs. I have several colorways of that design and can always change the dpi for you since I usually create a design on the 'large' size.

maryyx says: @floramoon_designs - my fave comment on this design has been from my sister, who says she sees it as a Persian rug. I keep thinking about that. I think she's right. It would be cool to have it as a rug. Maybe that is something The Roostery will come up with.
