My friend Sylvie inspired me to use water colors in my designs. Considering the subject matter and fluidity of my designs, it's a wonder I needed such prompting. The original Sylvie's Ocean is basically a red/green mix of colors. I wanted to try blues, being a favorite of lots of people ( think blue & white dishes). I also wanted to see what my designs looked like printed on satin. Being an avid flea marketer, we use a phrase for our delicious finds...I have been dubbed the Queen of Elegant Tacky. This blue/lviolet design in satin fits right in. Making some throw pillows ,a friend said they "...they belong in the boudoir..."
