I think it's important to find beauty in everything. I was inspired by marine microbes growing in Petri dishes. I found some lovely photos in an old issue of National Geographic, and this is what I ended up with. I chose watercolor as a medium, because I liked how the ink drops also create similar shapes that reminded me of microorganisms. ||This print is designed as wallpaper, but I've also made it available for fabric and gift wrap.
