The wallpaper repeat comes out to 12x19.59 "across, making it 2 repeats across the roll width. Sorry for the delay in answering, Jan. I'm slower than cold molasses these days!

Can you tell me what the repeat is on the wallpaper?
Do you have this design in pink?!?

Ooooo, that would make a lovely shirt. Perfect for Talk Like A Pirate Day! Aaaaaargh!
I got my corset and bloomers finished and wore them to the Faerieworlds festival a couple weeks ago. The fabric got RAVE reviews, and I hawked Spoonflower to anyone who would listen!
For some reason it won't let me attach my images, Cean, so I'll send you links privately. :)

Here's a pirate-themed 18th century outfit I made (JP Ryan jacket and a petticoat) with this fabric. Love this fabric, it's so cute!

Should I make a baby sling or a shower curtain? Maybe both! Hands down my favorite fabric on Spoonflower, too bad their isn't "Fabric of the Century" arrrgh!
Congratulations on your win. A really great design!
Oooh I'd love to see a picture, Francine! And thanks so much. I've been called gender neutral before, but never so nicely! (just joshing.)
Congratulations Cean! The illustrations are beautiful, the colors are lovely and you've somehow managed to make pirates gender neutral - fabulous! By the way, I'm going to have to get off my bum and make a wall banner out of your Firebird soon since my nephew is due imminently!! Eek!
Thank you annelie, bora, mariapopia and tallulahdahling! Compliments from talented people like you all are amazing indeed.
Congratulations! From the title to the illustrations, cleverly well done!
Congratulations. This is a fantastic design. I love every detail.
Congratulations!!! Very beautiful!
I LOVE it when the best design wins!!! CONGRATS Cean!! :)
Also, to all of you asking, after a small delay this fabric is definitely up for sale now. Thanks for all of your interest and sorry for my emails saying it already was available. (My page makes it look like it is! Super sorry!)
Thank you everyone! What a wonderful community this is. All of your well wishes have had me giddy and spinning so much so that I feel a bit hangover-y today, and I didn't even touch the rum! Thank you all!

Congratulations #1! Fantastic design I can hardly wait to see what people will make with it.

Ye haw! That fabric looks sooooo beautiful. Well deserved and I love it.
*Girly shriek*!! I'm so excited I'm dancing a hornpipe jig around the room and tonight I'll crack open that bottle of rum! Thanks everybody for your sweet words and encouragement. The best part of these SF contests is the wonderful interaction with amazing people like all of you.
Congrats on a well deserved win, Cean! Love the minimal palette in this one and as always your wonderful wry sense of humor in your designs.
You never cease to amaze me!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents.
Congratulations Cean! A well-deserved result for a fantastic design!

Congratulations, Cean, on your well-deserved win with this super design!
Thank you for all of your sweet comments, Jo, stitching belle and drgnidy. Jo,m take my word, I've got bushels of horrible fabrics floating around here. I'm just to mortified to put them up. If one happens to fit a contest theme I will, though. My laziness wins over my mortification any day.
This is beyond charming!
amazing design cean...of course!! and i must say i've never seen any evidence of any crappy designs, i'm not sure i believe you can make one either!! this is glorious though, love your detailed illustrations, beautiful colouring and fantastic idea! i reckon you've got a winner here....and there are a lot of really wonderful designs this week....thats just how good this is!!
Thank you so much, creedancelovesyou, Judith and Victoria! Judith, you are truly a bard and waaay to kind. I have made many crap designs, promise! Victoria, awesome idea! If you figure out how to make it happen, let me know. I have a wall in my daughter's room I've been searching for a paper for. It would be so much easier to just design what I want.
Hmmm, I was looking at how much custom wallpaper costs and it would be considerably less expensive to glue the fabric on the wall. Wonder if anyone has done that; and how. I'm going to be giving this some thought.
There are some people who are photogenic, and we say of such creatures that they 'just can't take a bad photo'....
I must say of ceanirminger that she 'just can't design a crappy fabric' - it seems to be winner after winner, in her crisp, clever, wonderfully witty style. Here's to yet another amazing fabric... yo ho ho and a tankard of rum!
Really wonderful work. Imaginative, with great personality. Really great composition and colors too. I'm a fan!
Wow, the thrill of pleasing the pickiest of creatures, the human teenager. What a compliment! Thanks so much. Corrinevail!
I love how you took an old idea and turned it into something that any modern teenager would love to have in their room. Excellent!!!
Thanks erin. mona, samarra, victoria, pixeldust, isabella, asilo, cakeworth&pennington, patty, ipds1220,scrapartist and annelie! I feel I've been saving up on my bad puns for a while, so this whole pattern was just an outlet to let them out of my brain. And an excuse to draw a drunken whale. (good catch, Victoria. I was trying to make everybody look like they'd been into the rum.)
Fantastic design! Loving it!!
Shiver Me Timbers... this is COOL!
Beautiful and witty as always Cean. Love it!
"ye scurvy dog", I love it! Your illustrations are so fantastical and yet refined, there are so many lovely details to look at and your drawings, as usual, are stunning!
Very cool! :)
This is so clever . Love it :)
I love that we can always count on you for a punny title and description, Cean! Nautical - Pirates, is one of my very favourite sub-themes and I'm just loving what you've done with it. These tones are perfect for bleached bones and sails and give the design the feel of a pirate's treasure map.
Oh my, this is so fabulous, where do I begin? The gold is perfect for Rococo. I love how the whale looks slightly inebriated; and I think the octopus has had way too much, he's swimming upside down. As always, your details are wonderful; like the little chunks of coral amidst the scrolls. I could so see this as wallpaper in my half bath.
well shiver me timbers! this is AWESOME! this is probably my favourite design from you so far cean (and they are all great!)
Oh, it's simply divine. My favorite part is the octopus-whale-treasure chest grouping. Awesome.
Oh - and I am jealous of your boat drawing abilities - fabulous!
Oh my! Totally fabulous and a great pun to boot! You rawk, Cean! And already 63 views?! Some of mine never get looked at that much let alone in the first 4 hours. :)
it's so cool to see everyone's individual takes on the same theme! ...this is just clever & beautiful, beautiful as always cean!!
Thanks so much, Marcia and Rhonda, and a special thank you Rhonda for helping clear my brain block. I was sitting here trying to remember the word for sabre for the description, and came up with sable. heh heh. As she was brownish red I figured it would still fit, but now that I've got the proper word, out with the sable, in with the sabre!
Perilous privateers; brazen, buxom belles; sabres, shells, scrolls and skulls! Cean, you have fired a cannonade of rum-ball flavoured images to make Rococo rock on the high seas to the tune of "Yo, ho, ho"!
what a great idea! I love the drawings, they're perfect!
Jillian, perfect idea we could combine it and have rum cake. Thanks so much Virginia, Kelly and Kelly! A wench couldn't ask for better mateys.
bwa ha ha! exquisite and witty - in other words in what I think of as your typical style. Well done!
Oh you scurvy dog! This is clearly the perfect fabric for rococo, steampunk, and lusty mermaids! Too fabulous.
This wont look foolish next to anything, its awesome! I think the designs could have a pretty fun party together with rum and pastel cake.
wonderfully clever, and so well done!
And thanks to you too, Jillian, though beside your elegant ladies I think this is going to be looking very foolish indeed.
Ahoy there rengal, poetryqn, Yvonne and acbeilke, and many thanks for your nice comments I have to draw a lot of foliated scrolls, shells and acanthus leaves for work, so I was super happy to hear about a contest where I could draw them and fill them up with whatever goofy things I thought of.
Beautiful illustrations, just the right mix of silly and elegant!
ah so cute! this contest was made for you!
Oh, this is FAHbulous! Made me laugh out loud. And it's a gorgeous repeat!
Oops, cross posted and missed your comments, Alex and Lucinda. Thanks so much!
Awesome! love it.
Thanks Sharon! since hearing the contest theme rococo I couldn't get the dang yo ho yo song out of my head, so I figured I'd best just run with it.
Brilliant! Lovely work and it made me smile :-)
great take on the theme Cean ~ bloomin' marvelous as always mee loverley arghhhhhhh xxx
