I've been an artist all my life..I am delighted with the possibilities that Spoonflower offers for artistic expression.. What a lovely community! It gives me hope to know that such beautiful, creative and positive people are out there!

Castles in the clouds, the beach at sunset, a lone Sandpiper, its shadow and scattered shells create a dreamy seascape.

The sandpiper and his shadow were captured on the California coastline out of Santa Barbara. If you are interested in this fabric in other tones, let me know.

rhondadesigns says: I love the nostalgic dreamy quality of this beautiful beach scene! There is nothing like watching the relentless ebb and flow of the sea, particularly at the end of a summer's day, to make one appreciate the ephemeral nature of the beauty in our surroundings.

redcrushm says: This brings to mind Van Gogh's "Starry Night". There is movement and stillness captured together. The colour tones you've chosen suggest the quiet of dusk. This design is captivating… well done.
